Cheiloneurus tenuicornis Ishii, 1928: 147 . Synonymised with Cheiloneurus quercus View in CoL by TRJAPITZIN (1989: 305).

Type material examined. Cheiloneurus tenuicornis : LECTOTYPE: ♀ (here designated), (No. 44), Ozuki, Kanagawaken, ex Kermes miyasakii on Qercus serrata ssp. serrata , 8.vi.1922, T. Ishii lgt. ( NIAES). PARALECTOTYPES: 2 ♀♀, same data as lectotype; 1 ♀, on slide ( NIAES).

Additional material examined. 3 ♀♀, Matsuyama, 25.–30.vi.1955, T. Tachikawa lgt. & det. (with the label Ch. tenuicornis Ishii ), G. Japoshvili revid. ( ELKU).

Distribution. Japan: Honshu, Shikoku ( TACHIKAWA 1963a). Palaearctic ( NOYES 2016).
