Original description. Schönborn 1965, P. 234, Fig. 7 .

Description. Shell small, organic, elongated-ovate, not transparent, yellow-brown, covered with rare mineral

particles. Apical region can be slightly elongated in lateral view. Aperture circular, very small. Measurements. Shell length 17.0–20.4 µm, shell width 11.9–13.6 µm, aperture diameter 2.7–3.8 µm. Habitat. Freshwater, recorded on Typha .

Geographical distribution. Bulgaria, Poland, Germany.
