Original description. Beyens and Chardez 1982, P. 171, Figs 1–2 .

Description. Shell oval or broadly ovoid, laterally compressed, chitinous, transparent, with hyaline surface, smooth, without mineral particles. Aperture oval, surrounded by a small collar. Measurements. Shell length 45–63 µm, shell width 40–48 µm, aperture diameter 8–10 µm. Habitat. Freshwater.

Geographical distribution. Belgium.
