Polymixis View in CoL (s. l.) boursinella, nom. nov.
= Crino albirena Boursin, 1944 , Revue Francaise d’Entomologie, 10: 162, pl. 5, f. 8 (Type locality: [ China] Sichuan, Sze- Tschewan, Chaine de Ta-Lieng-Schan), a junior secondary homonym of Polymixis (Lophotyna) albirena ( Moore, 1867) View in CoL , homonym nov.
Remark. The species was transferred to the genus Blepharita Hampson by Poole (1989), and subsequently was assigned with the genus Polymixis without a certain subgeneric placement by Ronkay et al. (2001). After downgrading Lophotyna to a subgenus of Polymixis , the taxon became invalid as a junior secondary homonym of P. albirena ( Moore, 1867) , comb. nov. (according to the article 57.3.1 of ICZN (1999)). According to the article 60 of ICZN (1999), a replacement name must be introduced for albirena Boursin, 1944 .
Etymology. The new name is dedicated to Charles Boursin, a famous French noctuidologist and an author of Crino albirena .
