Acuminiseta flaviterga . – ROHÁČEK et al. (2001): 111 [world catalog, noted as generic affiliation uncertain].

Australimosina flaviterga . – PAPP (2008b): 135 [generic combination, illustration]. Note. ROHÁČEK et al. (2001) note that Acuminiseta “is certainly not monophyletic as currently assembled and urgently needs taxonomic revision”; the two Australian species were in particular noted as out of place in Acuminiseta . The redescription of one of those species as another new monotypic genus by PAPP (2008a), was done without mention of the other species, without justification, and without any indication of relationship to other taxa. Acuminiseta remains in need of revision.
