Material examined. UKRAINE: Transcarpathian Region : 1 ♀, Svydovets, 2–3 km NW of Kvasy, 48.090889°N, 24.155835°E, 850–900 m, beech forest, Malaise trap 2, 7.v–5.vi.2014, leg. O. Varga ( SIZK) GoogleMaps .

Distribution. Known from Germany, first record for Ukraine.

Taxonomical remark. A small species (body length 3.5–4.5 mm) with very large ocelli (distance between lateral ocellus and eye 0.5 × ocellar diameter) and very short and strongly narrowed temples; face wider than frons, with slightly convergent sides ventrally; and mesopleuron almost smooth, not distinctly punctate. Face reddish, inner orbits cream-yellow; mesosoma mainly brownish, mesoscutum with 4 yellowish longitudinal stripes; hind coxa with brownish spot dorsally; pterostigma brownish.
