Nearctic species, all of whose parasitic stages are usually found on Rodentia : Cricetidae ; adult ticks alone have been collected from Rodentia : Dipodidae ; larvae have been taken from Rodentia : Sciuridae , and Soricomorpha : Soricidae . There are no records of Ixodes eastoni causing human parasitism.
