A Neotropical species, all of whose parasitic stages are usually col-lected from Squamata : Iguanidae . Durden et al. (2015) found adults on Squamata : Boidae , and larvae on Squamata : Colubridae and Teiidae . There are no records of Amblyomma antillorum causing human parasitism.
