An Oriental and Palearctic species, all of whose parasitic stages are usually found on Artiodactyla : Bovidae , but they have also been collected from Perissodactyla : Equidae ; nymphs have been recovered from Rodentia : Muridae . There are no records of Haemaphysalis cornupunctata causing human parasitism.
