2. Anomalohimalaya lamai Hoogstraal, Kaiser and Mitchell, 1970a View in CoL .

An Oriental and Palearctic species, as proposed by Camicas et al. (1998), rather than exclusively Palearctic as proposed in Guglielmone et al. (2014). The adults of Anomalohimalaya lamai are usually found on Rodentia : Cricetidae , but all parasitic stages have been collected from Cricetidae . Nymphs and larvae have also been found on Rodentia : Muridae , and Soricomorpha : Soricidae ; nymphs alone have been recovered from Lagomorpha : Leporidae . There are no records of Anomalohimalaya lamai causing human parasitism.
