An Oriental species whose adults are usually found on Carnivora (several families). Adults have been recovered from Mammalia (several orders), and immature stages have been collected from Carnivora : Mustelidae , and Rodentia : Muridae . Haemaphysalis koningsbergeri is a very rare parasite of humans.
