Note: — Justicia remotifolia View in CoL is characterised by having coriaceous leaves and lax paniculate inflorescences with two small ovate leaves at the base of peduncle. This species is found only in Chaiyaphum (north-eastern Thailand) and in the Malay Peninsula. The original description of J. oligantha View in CoL matches very well with the type of J. remotifolia View in CoL . Therefore, the former is placed as a synonym of the latter.
