Lectotype (Townsend in Dassanayake & Fosberg, Revised Handb. Fl. Ceylon 1: 136. 1980): Herb. Linn. No. 287.13 ( LINN) .

Current name: Cyathula prostrata (L.) Blume View in CoL View at ENA ( Amaranthaceae ).

Note: Although Fawcett & Rendle (Fl. Jamaica 3: 134. 1914) indicated material in LINN as type, they did not distinguish between sheets 287.12 and 287.13 (which are evidently not part of a single gathering, so Art. 9.15 does not apply).
