Croton incisus var. minor Leandri, Notul. Syst. (Paris) 13: 183. 1948, syn. nov. Type. Madagascar. Prov. Toamasina: Reserve Naturelle de Betampona, près de Tamatave; 450 m, 19 Feb 1938, H.J. Lam & B. Meeuse 6014 (holotype: P [P00133221]!; isotypes: G [G00446382]!, K!, L, S!).

Habit and distribution.

Shrubs; eastern lowland Madagascar (Toamasina).

Notes.

Some indices, such as Govaerts et al. (2000), have listed Baillon (1891b) as the publication in which C. incisus was described; however, the correct citation is Baillon (1861).
