Basionym:— Andrewsianthus lancistipus Grolle, Bakker, Winterbottom & Dyer, Marion Prince Edw. Is : 230, 1971 ( Grolle 1971).

Type: MARION I . Swamp ½ mile SW of weather station, 20 m, 1971, van Zinderen Bakker (holotype JE!) .
