Notes: not Eulophia longibracteata (Lindl.) T.Durand & Schinz, Consp. Fl. Afric. 5: 22 (1894). The new name is in honour of Jean Marie Bosser, whom IPNI lists as author of 318 taxa (including many orchids). He was an author of this replaced name and contributed as an author and editor to many treatments in the Flore des Mascareignes published by the Institut de recherche pour le développement (IRD) and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
