These species were moderately well supported as a clade by the 28S D2 data (Fig. 10) and the linking of F. australis and C. macarta very well supported by EF­1 (Fig. 12) and also by the combined data (Fig. 15). Distance between A. sparsularia and F. australis was 3.9%, F. australis and C. macarta 4.7% (28S D2), 4% (EF­1) and A. sparsularia and C. macarta 4.2% (28S D2). The relationship between these species and the rest of the Nacophorini and support for these relationships from morphological data will be fully discussed in a future paper on the morphology of the Australian Nacophorini .
