These species were moderately well supported as a clade by the 28S D2 data (Fig. 10) and the linking of F. australis and C. macarta very well supported by EF1 (Fig. 12) and also by the combined data (Fig. 15). Distance between A. sparsularia and F. australis was 3.9%, F. australis and C. macarta 4.7% (28S D2), 4% (EF1) and A. sparsularia and C. macarta 4.2% (28S D2). The relationship between these species and the rest of the Nacophorini and support for these relationships from morphological data will be fully discussed in a future paper on the morphology of the Australian Nacophorini .
