Dasypeltis confusa Trape & Mané, 2006

An adult individual was encountered by SM in Lékédi Park at 17h00 on 14 June 2017 ( Fig. 15 ). It was inflat-

ing itself and adopted a threatening posture all the time it was approached. New Dept. record and new record for the park. This recently described egg-eating species was first reported from Gabon by Pauwels and Sallé (2009).
