Material examined. China: 6 males, 4 females, Hainan Prov., Mt. Bawangling, 27.v.1983, Coll. Zhang Yalin (NWAFU).

Distribution. China (Hainan), Indonesia, Papua New Guinea.

Remarks. Externally this species is similar to species of the B. punctata complex but differs from the latter by the more elongate aedeagal shaft.
