Habitat. Dry grasslands, meadows.

Zoogeographical distribution type. Broad range endemism ( Croatia, Slovenia and Northeast Italy).

Distribution in Croatia. Istra peninsula (Mediterranean region) and western part of Alpine region. Michaelsen (1910): Rovinj; Mršić (1984, 1985): Savudrija, Risnjak.
