As with all species in this genus, the zooids are separate, attached only by basal stolons. Siphons six-lobed, stomach plicated. U-shaped heart at posterior end of postabdomen.

#3869, very tiny immature colony. Zooids contracted and broken, no abdomens, gonads or larvae.

#4624, small transparent colony, pale yellowish zooids very contracted. Siphon lobes rounded, no additional serrations. Length of largest zooid in tunic up to 15 mm, out of tunic contracted, about 8 mm or less. Thorax with many fine longitudinal muscles. About 15 rows of stigmata. Stomach with about 8-10 longitudinal plications. Anus ends at posterior end of thorax. Gonads not well developed. A cluster of testes just behind the gut loop in the best zooid. No larvae.

Distribution: Fiji, Australia, Palau, Coral Sea, Tahiti, Ponape.
