It is positive for nitrate reduction, esculin hydrolysis, gelatinase, utilization of glucose, arabinose, N -acetyl-glucosamine, maltose, potassium gluconate, malic acid, and trisodium citrate, and cytochrome oxidase; but negative for indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease, β-galactosidase, and utilization of mannose, mannitol, capric acid, adipic acid, and phenylacetic acid, per the analysis using the API 20NE kit. Strain F-130 (= NIBRBAC000503379) was isolated from soil in Gung-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejon, Republic of Korea .
