Distribution: Uganda, S Somalia, S Sudan, NE Dem. Rep. Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, N Tanzania, Zanzibar and Pemba.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc).

Discussion: fumigatus species group. Includes perauritus; see Koopman (1975).
