Remarks.

This taxon cannot be found in the literature. As stated by article 45.6.2 ( ICZN 1999) it is deemed to be an infrasubspecific name (the author used “aberration”, “ab.”) and is hence unavailable. The current name of the species is Pyronia cecilia (Vallantin, 1894).
