Neotype (Rourke in J. S. African Bot. 42: 203. 1976): Herb. Linn. No. 116.16 ( LINN) .

Current name: Diastella proteoides (L.) Druce View in CoL ( Proteaceae ).

Note: The collection indicated as the type by Rourke lacks the relevant Species Plantarum number (i.e. “2”) and was a post-1753 addition to the herbarium, and is not original material for the name. However, in the apparent absence of any original material, this choice is accepted as a neotypification (Art. 9.8).
