Distribution

Southwest USA and Mexico.

Remarks

Mycotretus nigromanicatus resembles M. bistrigatus Lacordaire ( Fig. 27A View Fig ) in body shape and colour. It is possible these two species are closely related or even synonymous, but we had no male specimens of M. bistrigatus at hand for comparison.
