Material examined: 1 ex, India: Uttarakhand, Uttarkashi, Bhatwari , 6.v.2002, S.K. Chakraborty, ex. ‘ Under Stone’ .
Diagnosis: Head and thorax black. Elytra and abdomen pitchy black, Thorax with dorsal row of five punctures. Antennae black, the first two joints reddish-yellow, the 11 th and sometimes the 10 th orange red. Legs reddishyellow, the tibiae infuscate. Length 3.5 mm.
Distribution: India: Uttarakhand: Uttarkashi, Bhatwari, Dehradun; Tamil Nadu:Nilgiri Hills. Elsewhere: Sri Lanka.
