Material examined: 1 ex, India: Uttarakhand, Tanakpur, Sarda river , 24.ii.1990, S. Biswas & K. V. Surya Rao .
Diagnosis: Black. The elytra with the sutural region distinctly, the posterior margin often narrowly and obscurely, the reflexed margin near the shoulder reddish. Abdomen, the posterior margins of the dorsal segments very narrowly and obscurely, those of the ventral segments more broadly and distinctly reddish. Antennae reddish-brown, the first joint yellow. Legs reddish-yellow. Length 6–7 mm.
Distribution: India: Uttarakhand: Tanakpur, Sarda river. Widely distributed in India and oriental region as far as China.
