( Figs 18 View FIGURE 18 , 25 View FIGURE 25 )

Titanoeca obscura Keyserling, 1878: 591 pl. 14, fig. 15 (holotype ♀ from Santa Fé   GoogleMaps de Bogotá (4°35’56”N 74°04’51”W), Colombia, deposited in NHM, examined).

Amaurobius obscurus : Petrunkevitch 1911: 105.

Goeldia funesta View in CoL : Lehtinen 1967: 236 (Part).

Remarks. The description of a male presented by Leech (1972) for Goeldia obscura refers to the specimen described by Keyserling (1891) and it was erroneously interpreted as the male of G. obscura ( Keyserling, 1878) . Here we present the first description of the male of Goeldia obscura ( Keyserling, 1878) .

Diagnosis. Males of Goeldia obscura differ from other species by the short, thick, and distally constricted patellar apophysis ( Fig. 18C View FIGURE 18 ); and by the tegular process distally narrowed and ventrally curved ( Fig. 18A View FIGURE 18 ). Females are recognized by the wide median field of the epigynum not enclosing the copulatory openings ( Fig. 18E View FIGURE 18 ); the copulatory ducts distally bent ( Fig. 18F View FIGURE 18 ); the vertical spermathecae shorter than the copulatory ducts, and the horizontal spermathecae ventrally curved ( Fig. 18F View FIGURE 18 ).
