Types. Adorium tarsatum . Lectotype ♀ (BMNH), here designated, labeled: “ Type [p, w, circle label with red border] // 55 / 19 [h, w, circle label] // Oides / tarsata / Baly / N. China [h, blue label] // Baly Coll. [p, w]”. Number of paralectotypes is unceratain.

Adorium sordidum . Lectotype ♀ (BMNH), here designated, labeled: “SYN- / TYPE [p, w, circle label with blue border] // N. / China [h, w, circle label] // Baly Coll. [p, w]”. Number of paralectotypes is uncertain.

Oides indica . Holotype ♂ (BMNH, by monotypy), labeled: “[aedeagus glued on the card // SYN- TYPE [p, w, circle label with blue border] // Type [p, w, circle label with red border] / Baly Coll. [p, w] // N. / China [h, w] [circle label] // Oides / indica / Baly / N. China [h, g]”.

Oides chinensis . Although some of Weise’s types are located in the NHRS, others were destroyed during the World Ward II, including those of O. chinensis (Johannes Bergsten, 26.V. 2016, personal communication). To stabilize the identity of this synonym and prevent taxonomic confusion, designation of the neotype is necessary. Here one specimen housed at the NMHB is designated as the neotype ♂, labeled: “ 福建 (Fujian) / 光澤 (Guanze) / 200–300 公尺 (200–300m) / 中國科學院 (Academia Sinica) [p, w] // 1960 [p] V.3 [h] / 採集人 (collector) 金根桃 (Gen-Tao Jin) / 林揚明 (Yang-Ming Lin) [p, w] // Oides / tarsatata [h] / 鑑定者 [p] (appraiser) Baly [h, w]”.

Redescription. Length 11.1–11.4 mm, width 7.9–9.0 mm. General color ( Figs 50D–50F View FIGURE 50 ) yellow; antennomeres VI–XI, meso- and metathoracic, and abdominal ventrites black; femur with one black spot; tarsi darker. Antennae filiform in males ( Fig. 65A View FIGURE 65 ), antennomeres III and IV subequal in length and longest, III–VI slightly serrate, VII–XI elongate, length ratios of antennomeres I–XI 1.0: 0.5: 1.1: 1.1: 1.0: 1.0: 0.9: 0.8: 0.7: 0.7: 0.9, length to width ratios of antennomeres I–IX 2.4: 1.5: 3.3: 3.3: 2.9: 3.0: 2.5: 2.6: 2.3: 2.2: 3.4; shorter in female ( Fig. 65B View FIGURE 65 ), length ratios of antennomeres I–XI 1.0: 0.5: 0.9: 0.9: 0.8: 0.8: 0.8: 0.8: 0.7: 0.7: 0.7, length to width ratios of antennomeres I–IX 2.7: 1.8: 3.2: 2.9: 2.7: 2.6: 2.8: 2.8: 2.5: 2.4: 2.7. Pronotum transverse, 2.2x wider than long, disc with dense, fine punctures, baso-lateral angles rounded, apico-lateral angles widely rounded, apical margin moderately concave. Elytra elongate oval, widest near base, 1.1–1.2x longer than wide; moderately convex, epipleurae located 3/4 distance between suture and lateral margins. Penis ( Figs 65C– 65E View FIGURE 65 ) elongate, 6.7x longer than wide; parallel-sided, widest at apical 1/6; apically bifurcate, apices closely connected; tectum with deep notch; slightly curved in lateral view, apex hooked; ventral surface membranous inside apex, with elongate membranous area extending from apex to middle; endophallic sclerite complex comprising one pair of lateral sclerites, laterally flattened, apex acute in lateral view, base connected with dorsal surface of penis. Apical margin of abdominal ventrite V in female truncate. Gonocoxae reduced. Ventrite VIII ( Fig. 65F View FIGURE 65 ) longitudinal, medial area projecting anteriorly, apical margin truncate, with long setae along apical margin, much denser medially; disc with circular depression near middle of apical margin, spiculum long. Receptacle of spermatheca ( Fig. 65G View FIGURE 65 ) as wide as pump, connected to pump, basally narrowed; pump strongly curved; proximal spermathecal duct short with widened apical sclerotized area at apex.

Diagnosis. See diagnosis of Oides geiseri sp. nov.

Host plant. Vitaceae : Cayratia spp. ( Yu et al. 1996).
