Paramerina smithae (Sublette)

Material examined. CANADA: Manitoba, Lake Winnipeg, 2 km off Selkirk (Horse) Island, 1 male, 7.vi. 1969. The cibarial pump, tentorium and stipes are illustrated.

Distribution. This species was previously known from Washington, North and South Dakota, Kansas, California, Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico, to Oaxaca, Mexico ( Roback 1971: 273, Oliver et al. 1990: 13, Spies 1999, Ashe & O’Connor 2009: 192).
