Queensland. 0/ 1 /0, Pond near Crocodile Road, Bowling Green Bay NP, 40 km S of Townsville, 31 -vii- 1989; 0/ 1 /0, Hasties Swamp, 4 km S of Atherton, Atherton Tablelands, 6 -viii- 1989; 0/ 1 /0, Lake Emma, Lakefield NP, Queensland, Australia, 15 º 17 ’ 47.43 ” S 144 º 38 ’ 48.05 ” E, 3 -ix- 2000.

Remarks. As mentioned under H. novaehollandica n. sp., the female of H. triscutata is not well known. A number of females with a large posterior indentation of the dorsal plate are tentatively assigned to H. triscutata . These females have a long and narrow posteromedial extension of the fourth coxae.
