Type material. ZMUM (W.266), Russia.
Examined material. 1 C (SORC-V.050.01) Cave "Nguoi Xua", Cuc Phuong NP, Ninh Binh, 18/8/1995.
Records from Vietnam. Ninh Binh (Cuc Phuong NP) ( Thai 1982).
Distribution. Only known from Vietnam.
Vietnamese name. Giun ghilarovi .
Remarks. Blakemore (2007a, 2008b) considered it as " species inquirenda ". Material was re-examined and absence of male copulatory pouches and hence placement of the species in Amynthas is confirmed here.
