Pilodius kauaiensis (Edmondson, 1962) View in CoL — Titgen 1987: 108 [H.I.]. — Ng et al. (2008): 207 [O‘ahu].

Remarks. The species, which was tentatively included in Pilodius by Edmondson (1962a), does not belong in this genus ( Clark & Galil 1993). Ng et al. (2008: 207) examined the type and agreed that it may need to be placed in its own genus.

Geographical distribution. Only known from the Hawaiian Is.

Habitat. Shallow subtidal.
