Plagusia immaculata Lamarck, 1818 View in CoL , was collected by the Challenger Expedition from New Guinea ( Miers 1886: 273) and not from O‘ahu, as erroneously indicated by Rathbun (1906: 842) and Edmondson (1946, 1959) (see Schubart & Ng 2000).
