Distribution

Formica propatula Francoeur, 1973 were found in an oak forest near Quiroga, Michoacán de Ocampo with 16 ºC of amt and 67.4 mm/cm2 of amp. Formica propulata have been exclusively recorded in Mexico in Oaxaca, Guanajuato, Guerrero, Puebla, Tlaxcala, Hidalgo, Mexico State, Mexico City and Coahuila. Recently, F. propatula has been found associated with a template oak forest and agricultural land in Tlaxcala ( Cuautle et al. 2020).
