Specimens examined. Jarabacoa (Cordillera Central), 30-IX-2008, one female and one male on Inga vera Willdenow (Leguminosae) ; two females and two males on Roystonea hispaniolana Bailey (Arecaceae) View in CoL .
Remarks. This species has previously been recorded from Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Florida ( USA), Guyana, Honduras, México, Puerto Rico and Trinidad-Tobago. The measurements of the adult females collected are similar to those provided by Aponte & McMurtry (1995) in the re-description of the species.
