Remarks. Omalium deubeli was originally described from “Bucsecs” (Bucegi Mountains, Romania) based on two specimens. The studied type specimen ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1–4 ) from FMNH was designated as the lectotype in order to fix the identity of the name. Based on the external morphology, this specimen is conspecific with European O. funebre . Thus, it was synonymized with the latter species. Omalium funebre is known from several countries of Middle and South Europe ( Schülke & Smetana 2015). It is here recorded from Moldavia for the first time.
