Female

Length of body 300 Mm (including hood and anal covers), width 176 Mm. Length of hood 38 Mm.

Dorsum. Anterior margin of hood smooth, five or six dimples in each longitudinal row. Dorsal shield with 11 pairs of dorsal body setae, simple, 16–34 Mm in length. One pair of simple eyes and one pair of postocular bodies, laterally between setae sce and c 2. Dorsal shield covered with completely reticulate patterns, formed by polygonal dimples or cells. Surface reticulum on the region of setae f, h 1 and h 2 not apparent. Some dimples without pores, but some dimples with one to threepores. Dorsum with striae, also with cluster of cells associated with setae c 1 and d, these rosette patterns consist of four or five cells, no central cell in the rosette.

Venter. Prosternal apron with 11 dimples, concave at anterior edge. Ventral shield bearing six pairs of setae viz. 1a, 3a, 4a, 4c, ag 1 and ag 2, with two pair of genital setae

(g 122) set adjacent to genital shields. Anal opening terminal with three pseudanal setae (ps 123). Ventral shield with lateral reticulation, striae and pores.

Legs. Leg I 214 Mm, leg II 174 Mm, leg III 158 Mm, leg IV 186 Mm. Chaetotaxy of leg segments as follows: coxae 2–1–2–1, trochanters 1–1–2–1, femora 4–3–2–2, genua 6(K)–6(K) or 5(K)–2–3, tibiae 7(Q, QR)–6(QR)–5(QR)–3, tarsi 16(QR, v)–12(QR, v)–10(v)– 10(v). Segments of legs with striae, addorsal setae tc on tarsi II dissimilar, left and right genua II with six and five setae respectively.

Type Material
