Neotype ( Jørgensen & al. in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 115: 367, 383. 1994): Sweden. Uppland, Vänge parish, Fiby urskog, on upturned roots ( ‘rotvälta’), 4 Aug 1962, R. Santesson 14432 (UPS).

Current name: Chaenotheca furfuracea (L.) Tibell  ( Caliciaceae  ).
