DISTRIBUTION: Endemic to Brazil, presently known only from the type locality (Amazonas State, Manaus, Ducke Reserve ) .
HABITAT RECORDS: Streams ( Perkins & Ribera 2020); temporary pools, ex. leaf litter and exposed roots ( Benetti et al. 2021).
