* Chrysis View in CoL sexdentata FABRICIUS 1798: DAHLBOM 1854: 324 ( Senegal).

Known from the Neotropical Region. DAHLBOM (1854) lists one specimen from Senegal received from Spinola. In the Spinola Collection (Museo Regionale di Scienze Naturali in Turin) there are two specimens from Cayenne and Caroline (Latreille Collection), but none from Senegal. MOCSÁRY (1889: 566) is convinced, that the record from Senegal is a mistake. Therefore this record is not mentioned in de DALLA TORRE (1892: 60), BISCHOFF (1913: 65) and KIMSEY & BOHART (1990: 410).
