Spintharina mocsaryi RADOSKOWSKI 1890 : LINSENMAIER 1968: 108 ( Senegal).
Known from the Palaearctic Region. Paolo Rosa has found this specimen in the Linsenmaier Collection (Natur Museum Luzern). Linsenmaier identified it as Spintharina cfr. mocsaryi in 1964, but later he changed his opinion and added the label "spec. bei vagans ". We don’t know, which Ethiopian species is related to this name, which must be excluded from the Ethiopian species list.
