Known from the Palaearctic Region. The record from Niger is not mentioned in BISCHOFF (1913: 28), KIMSEY & BOHART (1990: 407) and LINSENMAIER (1999: 224). Chrysis ehrenbergi DAHLBOM belongs to the ehrenbergi group (KIMSEY & BOHART (1990: 407)).
