Comparative diagnosis. Itoplectis nigrithorax differs from its Neotropical congeners by the combination of completely black mesosoma, lack of submetapleural carina, and tarsal claws of fore leg with distinct basal tooth ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES 16–20 ).
