Deinonychus antirrhopus

The jugal of Deinonychus shows virtually no external pneumatic features and lacks a pneumatic foramen (the jugal foramen) in the antorbital fossa. The bone surface of the jugal is smooth and devoid of any depressions, ridges or other features (e.g. Ostrom, 1969).
