Observed Materials. Holotype: ♂, CHINA, Yunnan Province, Mt. Tianbao, Dongaotou , 1700m, 20–XI– 1999, coll. Irena DWORAKOWSKA. Paratypes : 1 ♂ 3 ♀♀, same data as holotype .
Notes. The new species is similar to Trifida melichari (Distant, 1908) in color pattern and male genitalia, but can be distinguished from the later by the aedeagus with two adjacent protrusions at midlength of shaft and the dorsal apodeme narrower preapically.
Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin word “ robustus ” which means “robust”, referring to its robust apical part of the dorsal apodeme process of the aedeagus.
