Dorsum dull, dark brown without metallic sheen; tubercles and irregular patches on elytra black; apical 4 antennomeres black. Head: vertex densely, coarsely punctate; frons projecting, densely coarsely punctate; clypeus rounded, carinate in middle. Antenna: short, robust, reaching to base of pronotum; antennomeres I– VII shiny; I–II rounded, subequal in length; III conical, little longer than II; IV–VII very similar to each other, each shorter than III; VIII–X increasing in length, weakly transverse; XI longer than X. Pronotum: slightly transverse; lateral margin rounded; anterior angle prominent, with notch; posterior angle acute, prominent; pronotal width 1.4–1.6 mm; pronotal length 1.3–1.4 mm. Scutellum: small, elongate; rounded at apex. Elytron: tuberculate; lateral margin gradually expanding apically, dentate basally, crenulate apically; exterior apical angle rounded, without tooth; humerus rectangular; regularly punctate-striate, punctures quadrate; interspace 2 tuberculate behind middle, with small tooth on declivity; interval 4 with strong tubercle in middle, with short weak carina behind middle; interspace 6 finely carinate at humerus, with rounded tubercle near apex; interspace 8 finely carinate, with tubercle near apex; elytral width 2.1–2.3 mm; elytral length 3.0– 3.2 mm. Venter: yellowish; mesosternum metallic green. Leg: tarsal claws with tooth at base. Total length: 4.5– 5.9 mm.

Comparative notes. This species is easily distinguished from all other Chaeridiona by the lack of metallic sheen, the rounded exterior apical angle of elytra, and the tuberculate elytra.

Food plants. Unknown.
