Prococcophagus albifuniculatus Huang, 1994: 248–250 . Holotype ♀, CHINA: Fujian, Fuzhou, Forest park, 2 .xii .1989 (coll. JianQing Huang), by yellow pan trap, ( FAFU) . Paratypes: 1♀, same data as holotype except 12 .xi .1989; 1♀, Fujian, Fuzhou , 1983 (coll. NaiQuan Lin), by sweeping, ( FAFU) .

Comments

This species is easily distinguished from other species of the varius group by the following characters: antenna with funicular segments and C3 white, F1 and F2 without longitudinal sensilla; fore wing with two pale areas bearing fine pale setae: one below the marginal vein, and the other along border of distal fore wing, from stigmal vein around to where the longest marginal fringe setae are present (similar to the condition present in C. yunnana
