Nova Scotia, Halifax Co., Magazine Hill, 44°, 42', 19.1"N, 63°, 37", 19.89"W, 30.VI.2014, Sweeney Lab, coll. // High-Low Experiment, Ketols Lure, High Trap (1, AFC).

Distribution in Canada and Alaska.

ON, QC, NB, NS ( Pelletier and Hébert 2014).

Comments.

Pelletier and Hébert (2014) reported Cantharis livida for the first time for Canada based on records from NB, QC, and ON. This species occurs south to MA and NY in the USA and was introduced from Europe ( Pelletier and Hébert 2014). The specimen from Halifax represents the first record for NS.
